CARE OF LEATHER

Some factors such as dirt, moisture, heat and light will eventually damage leather garments and accessories. By following this instructions you will ensure a perfect maintenance.

Always hang leather garments on wide or padded hangers to maintain their shape. Store in a well ventilated cool dry place. Avoid heat, damp or direct sunlight. Leather should not be stored in plastic as this encourages the growth of mildew and bacteria, which may cause serious damage.

If leather becomes wet, it is essential that it gets treated promptly. Remove dirt with a damp cloth or sponge, use a conditioner compound specifically design for leather and allow the leather to dry naturally

If your leather is affected by mildew try to remove it by wiping the effected area with diluted rubbing alcohol and allow to dry naturally. Promptly remove salt stains with a damp sponge and once again allow drying at room temperature.

For serious stains take your garment to a professional leather cleaner but be aware that it could cause some changes in texture and shape.

We would recommend that you use NEATSFOOT COMPOUND to condition your leather garments and accessories. Apply the solution with a soft lint free cloth every couple of months.
